Volunteer

Why Volunteer?

  1. Develop a sense of social responsibility and activism
  2. Help communities in need
  3. Engage with new cultures and surroundings

By volunteering overseas and living in a community, you can experience another culture in a much more real way than if you were just a tourist. Volunteering is also a great way to gain valuable experience and foster personal growth.

GVN's Volunteer Opportunities

GVN Foundation’s partner, Global Volunteer Network (GVN), aligns with the idea of 'local solutions to local problems', so they work with local community organisations in each country. Currently, GVN offers a range of volunteer opportunities in 21 countries across the globe. Some of the countries where GVN places volunteers include:

  1. Kenya
  2. Uganda
  3. Vietnam
  4. Nepal
  5. Thailand
  6. Peru

Whether you choose to be a big brother or sister to orphans in Kenya, teach children in Peru, or help rescue wildlife in Thailand, volunteering with GVN is sure to be a life changing experience.
