We are proud to announce that we have recently partnered with Faith Victory Association in Rwanda. Faith Victory Association works with the local community and all stakeholders to put in place mechanisms that eradicate poverty, that promote public health and that build capacity of women and children.

FVA was founded in March 2002 by a group of six professionals who realized that poverty levels in Rwanda were increasing and the rise in the numbers of HIV/AIDS infections and fatalities was compounding this. More and more women were becoming widowed and children were becoming orphaned due to the pandemic. This was adding to the already big number of widows and orphans resulting from the Genocide of 1994. FVA was therefore formerd to bring together people of different backgrounds to fight against poverty and the HIV/AIDS.

We need your help:

By working with local partners GVN Foundation is able to have a direct impact on the day-to-day lives of children in Rwanda. Together with FVA we are seeking sustainable, innovative solutions to local problems. However, we rely entirely upon donors like you who recognize that change always begins with individuals. Please make a donation to help us with our current projects.

Please note your donation will go into a 'general projects fund' to be used to assist our partner. In all instances we strive to send funds to the stated program above but in the event of a greater need or change in program needs GVNF will determine the destination of funds.
