Our partner works with an orphanage outside of Cusco that looks after about 17 orphaned girls and boys. Assist GVN Foundation as we work to provide these children with a new, model orphanage and continued support for their education and medical care.

Completed projects include:

• Increased the capacity of the Hogar Mercedes de Jesus orphanage by an additional 10 kids.
• Sent emergency relief to purchase food and tents for the victims of the earthquake.
• Funded the construction of a play ground at the Hogar Mercedes de Jesus.
• Financed a program to send each child at the Hogar Mercedes de Jesus to an eye doctor.
• Glasses were also purchased for the children who needed them.

Current projects:

• Funding  the construction of new facilities at an orphanage.
• Providing regular grants to assist with orphanage running costs.

By working with local partners GVN Foundation is able to have a direct impact on the day-to-day lives of children in Peru. Together with our Peruvian partners we also constantly strive to find sustainable, innovative solutions to local problems.  However, we rely entirely upon donors like you who recognize that change always begins with individuals. Please make a donation to help us with our current projects.

Please note your donation will go into a 'general projects fund' to be used to assist our partner. In all instances we strive to send funds to the stated program above but in the event of a greater need or change in program needs GVNF will determine the destination of funds.
