Our partner works with over 60 schools and orphanages in and around Nairobi. Assist GVN Foundation as we work to provide funding to needy children in 5 very special orphanages and schools in Kenya.

Completed projects include:

• Provided food relief to the Masaai community following drought and famine.
• Funded a clean water project (the Ongata Well) through an International Fundraiser.
• Funded the first Anytown Africa Feasibility Study- A study conducted to establish if a camp to address tribalism/racism issues in Kenya.
• Financed the construction costs for needy orphanages- roofs, dorms etc.
• Provided Emergency Relief Funding for Internally Displaced Persons after the 2008 Political/Election Violence.
• Provided medical care for children in and around Nairobi.
• Paid school fees for impoverished children, and HIV/AIDS orphans in and around Nairobi.

Current projects:

• Helping to pay for the school fees of children in IDP camps.
• Funding a porridge program for children in IDP camps.
• Providing regular grants to assist with orphanage running costs.

We need your help:

By working with local partners GVN Foundation is able to have a direct impact on the day-to-day lives of hundreds of children in Kenya. Together with our Kenyan partners we also constantly strive to find sustainable, innovative solutions to local problems. However, we rely entirely upon donors like you who recognize that change always begins with individuals. Please make a donation to help us with our current projects.

Please note your donation will go into a 'general projects fund' to be used to assist our partner. In all instances we strive to send funds to the stated program above but in the event of a greater need or change in program needs GVNF will determine the destination of funds.
