New Grants!

GVN Foundation has just sent out a number of grants to our partners around the world. Here’s a little summary but please feel free to contact us if you’d like more details:
1. VICDA, Kenya
$11,807.60 ESTC/Kili Grant - This grant will be used to support a variety of orphanages and schools in Kenya both with immediate needs and long-term sustainability projects. The grant will also be used to build 7 houses for IDPs at Pipeline IDP camp.
$143.10 Sponsorship Grant - This grant will be used to support Shelter Children’s Home in Kenya.
2. VSN, Nepal
$1,616.49 General Project Grant – This is to help meet the final payments and set-up costs for the Shining Stars Childrens Home build.
$2,001.63 General Project Grant – This is to help cover the quarterly running costs for Brighter Future Childrens home.
$4,334.70 Everest Hike Grant – This is also to help cover the quarterly running costs for Brighter Future Childrens home.
3. ZOTE, South Africa
$10,000 General Project Grant - This grant was sent to ZOTE from Intel thanks to Mark Russell. The grant will be used to build a magnificent library and learning center in Manamani Village.
4. CETU, Uganda
$601.01 Sponsorship Grant - This was sent to CETU to assist with the running costs of Springs of Hope school.
5. Tangare Foundation, Ecuador
$482.10 General Project Grant - This was sent to assist with completing the construction of a Montessori school at La Hesperia Biological Station and Reserve.
6. Peruvian Hearts, Peru
$144.72 International Fundraiser Grant - This will be used to assist with the running costs of Huchuy Yachaq community center
$279.08 International Fundraiser Grant - This will be used to support children at Associacion Wara community center
$96.35 International Fundraiser Grant - This will be used to assist with the running costs of Associacion Wara community center
$85.86 Sponsorship Grant - This will be used to assist with the running costs of the Hogar Mercedes de Jesus in Anta
