GVN Foundation Grant - VICDA
An Eat So They Can grant of $13,253.16 was sent to GVN Foundation partner VICDA (Volunteer International Community Development Africa) to be used to support several orphanages in and around Nairobi. Funds will be used to assist with immediate needs and sustainability projects. The grant will also be used to run a porridge program at several IDP camps.
GVN Foundation Grants April 2010
GVN Foundation has just sent a grant of $13,259.81 to GVN Vietnam.
$10,409.41 was sent as a general project grant was sent for food, medical supplies, education and improvement projects.
$433.77 was sent as an international fundraiser grant for the Kha family and Sandie.
$828.12 was sent as an emergency relief grant to assist in the continued aid work after Typhoon Ketsana.
$1,588.51 was sent as a sponsorship grant.
GVN Foundation has sent a grant to GVNF Australia of $11,411.55.
$7,500 will go to Aberdare School at Pipeline IDP Camp in Kenya from the Mt. Kilimanjaro trek.
$3,422.14 will go to Aberdare School at Pipeline IDP Camp in Kenya from the Eat So They Can Sustainability Fund
$489.41 will be used for Aberdare School at Pipeline IDP Camp in Kenya as an international fundraiser grant.
A grant was sent to ZOTE South Africa of $6,362.05:
$5,491.70 ESTC grant for a Winter School
$870.35 General Project grant for crèche supplies
A grant was sent to GVN Foundation’s Tanzanian partner, AfricAid of $2,836.25. This is an ESTC grant to fund the Losinoni Primary School Lunch Program.
A grant was sent to VSN Nepal of $1,407.73. This is a General Project grant for the Shining Stars Children’s Home build.
A grant was sent to CETU in Uganda of $1,126.85:
$635.15 is a sponsorship grant for running costs at Springs of Hope High School
$491.70 is an ESTC grant to help cover Springs of Hope High School’s deficit from 2009
