Sponsor Family Story

"We were displaced from Kericho district and went to Nakuru showground where we stayed for one year. The government gave us 10 000ksh and we collected the money together and bought the land at Pipeline. We subdivided the land which was 16 acres into small portions measuring 21x24 ft and now we stay at Pipeline as owner of this small portion. Life must continue but I wish we could lead a normal life like any other Kenyan."

Living Conditions

"During the post election violence we were displaced and everything that we had was destroyed. We stay in a tent and the situation is bad because the tent we are in is leaking and worn out. We are living in a pathetic situation and I can not support my family due to lack of job opportunities. Previously our living conditions were great because I was doing my own business with poultry keeping and a small shop. I had my own money and did not depend on others."
